Off 2 a Great Start 2024
Join us as we bolster the confidence of 300 budding leaders as they go boldly into the new school year. Starting on August 8, 2024, we will be giving away back-to-school Fresh Start Uniform Kits.
Our Programs
Since 2016, Saving Black Minds has supported families in need in the East St. Louis area as they prepare to send their young scholars back to school.
Every year, through our Off 2 A Great Start initiative, we sponsor students by providing Fresh Start Kits containing five (5) new school uniforms, eleven(11) family-sized hygiene supplies, and clear backpacks.
Stay Fresh Kits
Stay Fresh Kits are available for local school counselors, social workers, and nurses. These emergency hygiene kits provide much needed supplies for students who may need to freshen up during the school day. .
It's a Queen Thing!
Our girls mentoring program, designed for middle and high school queens in training, provides a safe and nurturing environment for young ladies to discover their inner queen, learn, grow, expand their vision for their lives and lay a solid foundation upon which to build values steeped in our Crown Jewels: Personal Growth & Development, Professional Development, Service, and Leadership.
